A war-weary pilot haunted by loss rescues an enemy defector with proof that a powerful empire is manipulating belief to destabilize entire worlds, making them targets as he races to expose the truth before it ignites interplanetary war.
SYNOPSIS
After a devastating war leaves the Aruna Nebula locked in a fragile balance of fear, former war hero Miles Nova has withdrawn from the world, numbing himself as a freight pilot haunted by the loss of his wife. When imperial guard Elvey Menkar defects from Emperor Alcor Omucron, revealing a plan to destroy Suria not through war but internal collapse, Miles is reluctantly pulled back into events he believes only end in tragedy.
Hunted by Omucron’s ruthless enforcer Yaru Gorgor, Miles, Elvey, and a young scavenger named Ras are forced into an uneasy alliance. As Suria embraces a false peace and ignores Elvey’s warnings, assassination and betrayal follow. A brutal battle on Tamburion proves heroism still matters—but also confirms the war has already begun.
Whispers ends not with victory, but with resolve, as unseen forces tighten their grip.
